My vocation for technology is motivated by an intense curiosity to develop practical solutions to problems everyday. That's why, in some free moments, I develop small technological projects and carry out consultancy in the areas that I have skill. Project: Vehicle tracking solution. In this project I carried out the integration of a vehicle tracking solution, based on low-cost M2M communication, which uses the GSM/3G/4G mobile network. An application and a database are hosted in the cloud, the entire implementation is based on open source applications. Main Skills and technologies used:

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP): VM management, firewall rules and storages.
  • AWS: EC2, VPC, S3 and CloudFront management.

  • Connectivity Management Platform (CMP), site survey, signal prediction of regional providers

Information Technology Infrastructure Analyst

In the current position of Information Technology Infrastructure Analyst, I continue to have challenges related to service development and cloud-based solutions, with high availability and following standards of excellence in cybersecurity.

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Solutions based on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Solutions based on AWS.
  • Education Management Environments (LMS): Moodle, Google Classroom.
  • Cybersecurity: Development of IT practices based on LGPD and in compliance with ISO 27001.

Information Technology Coordinator

Working in the position of Coordinator of an IT team, I had some challenges that required creativity and dialogue to be overcome. One of the last challenges I faced was to establish virtual work and learning environments for an audience of more than a thousand students and a hundred employees. Bypassing policies that restrict technological investments, but with the support of a highly qualified and committed team, it was possible to establish safe and accessible services to the entire community. Among other actions, the responsibility for dealing with budget planning, team and project management was constructive. Developed interpersonal skills, experience with public purchases/bids and prioritization of demands. Among the various practices, technologies and platforms that make up the routine of an institution's ICT sector, I can say that I had more contact and expertise in:

  • Management: Agile methodologies, ITIL v3, COBIT, Project management.
  • Virtualization and automation technologies: VMWare solutions, KVM/QEMU, Ansible.
  • Cybersecurity: Fortinet Firewall and its solutions, Fortinet Analyzer, pfSense Firewall and its solutions, OpenVPN, WireGuard, Bitdefender Endpoint and GravityZone, Veeam Backup and its solutions.
  • Networks: Routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), Layer 2 protocols (VLANs, STP, RSTP, LACP), 802.1X, DHCP, VPN,
  • Management of Linux and Windows servers and workstations
  • Windows Server based solutions: WDS, WSUS, AD Domain, DNS, Access policies and GPOs, Bitlocker.

Acting as an Information Technology technician, it was possible to deal with many challenges, but those of a practical nature that defined the institution's first IT infrastructure policies stand out. The practices, technologies and platforms that I had the most contact with at that time were:

  • L1/L2/L3 Networks: Network projects and structured cabling, Midsize data center projects, Cisco 1900 Router, Mikrotik Router.
  • Ruckus Access Point and ZoneDirector configuration and management.
  • IP Telephony Design and Installation: Asterisk, Khomp Solutions, Intelbrás and Grandstream IP Phones, Interconnection design inter-campi via IP telephony network (fone@RNP).
  • Design and Installation of CCTV Solutions: IP Cameras Hikvision and Intelbrás, NVR Intelbrás, Open NVR ZoneMinder.
